The forum traditionally includes a scientific conference, during which scientists from different countries of the world present and discuss scientific researches related to the culture and history of Georgian vines.

The United States is a strategic market for Georgian wine, where various important events, including the Georgian Wine Forum, are held with the support of the National Wine Agency to promote Georgian wine and export growth. These measures have significantly contributed to the steady growth of sales in the American wine market over the past 6 years. As for the current statistics, in 10 months of 2021, 881 thousand bottles of wine were exported from Georgia to the United States, which is 10% more than the same period last year.
