In order to increase the export potential of Georgian wine, the government has approved the "State Program to Promote Georgian Wine"
06.09.2021

The aim of the “State Program to Promote Georgian Wine” is to increase the export potential, competitiveness and awareness of Georgian wine in international markets, and to diversify strategic and priority export markets.
The program will be implemented by the LEPL National Wine Agency, in coordination with the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia.
Within the allocated assignations, the National Wine Agency will co-finance marketing expenses only for companies that export to priority markets and to countries around the world other than the CIS countries.
In line with the market diversification strategy, co-financing marketing costs for exporting companies is very important for the private sector. This will give companies motivation to invest additional funds and increase their existing processing capacity, creating more opportunities to connect with new partners, which is crucial for diversifying export markets.
Program support includes a variety of marketing as well as online marketing, sales incentives, tastings, media campaigns to increase sales, online sales platforms, social media advertising, and more.
