By the order of the Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Levan Davitashvili, the state enterprise "Crop Management Company" Ltd is ready today to receive and process hail-damaged grapes.
Heavy hail and wind damaged 4600 hectares of vineyards in Kakheti region, Kvareli, Telavi and Gurjaani municipalities.
As it was mentioned at the meeting held today at the Vintage Coordination Headquarters, all resources will be mobilized so that the affected viticulturists can easily accommodate the crop.
Accommodation of grapes is already possible in Telavi, Gurjaani and Kvareli municipalities.
