“Georgian Wine House” in Urumqi
In the People’s Republic of China, Xinjiang province, Urumqi, “Georgian Wine House” was opened.
“Georgian Wine House”, which is spread on 600 m2 offers the native consumer variety of Georgian wines. Famous chiefs of Xinjiang cook special Chinese meal to match Georgian wine. “Georgian Wine House” introduces not only Chinese cuisine and Georgian wine, but also Georgian culture with national dances and folk-lore accompaniment.
The opening ceremony was attended by the head of National Wine Agency, Giorgi Samanishvili, representatives of National wine agency and Georgian wine companies.

This is Georgian-Chinese united project- Chinese Company \"Suolun\" on the one hand and Georgian \"Tbilinvest Group\"on the other hand. The director general of “Suolun Company”, Isiao Jiunumi considers, that growth of “Georgian Wine House” number in China will promote Georgian wine popularity, the consumer will not only taste Georgian wine, but also learn Georgian history and culture.
“Georgian Wine House” brand was first created 11 months ago in Zhejiang province by Chinese company “Suolun” and 80 more branches are planned to be opened all over China by the company with native partners till the end of the year.
With “Suolun” company initiative, in May of the current year, Georgian wine warehouse was opened in Zhejiang, logistic center of Yju, which will systematically supply “Georgian Wine House” chain with wine.
Within last two years, 35 Georgian wine units (shop, salon, pavilion, center, restaurant) have been opened by different importing companies in China and over 300 dillers are involved in realization Georgian wine in China.
According to 6 month data of the current year, 1,86 mln bottles of wine, which is 148% higher, than the similar data of the last year. 2015 year was very important for Georgian wine export in China, the progress exceeded 122% compared with 2014, with 2 672 154 bottles (0.75) of total export. China took the fourth place in the five of Georgian wine exporter countries after Russia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine.
