The National Wine Agency organized an online seminar "German Wine Market" for Georgian producers

About 40 Georgian wine companies participated in the seminar, which was led by experts from the National Wine Agency contractor company "ff.k Public Relations".
Wine producers had the opportunity to learn about the structure of the German wine market, major German importers, business partner acquisition methods, consumer priorities, assess strengths and weaknesses of production, export potential and barriers. The issues discussed at the seminar will help Georgian wine producers to increase and establish exports to the German market.
The National Wine Agency has been cooperating with the German company "ff.k Public Relations" since 2021. During the current year, with the financial support of the National Wine Agency and the organization of "ff.k Public Relations", the Georgian wine advertising campaign will be strengthened in Germany using various media platforms. Numerous presentations of Georgian wine are planned both online and in live formats, Georgian wines will take part in various competitions, visits of wine professionals and media representatives to Georgia are planned.
Germany has been included to the list of strategic markets for Georgian wine since 2020. Germany is the largest wine importer in Europe. Last year, up to 700,000 bottles of wine were exported from Georgia to Germany (an increase of 4%). Exports are growing in 2021 – according to the data of 4 months, 230 thousand bottles were exported (an increase of 1%).
Georgian wine strategic markets also are the USA, China, Poland, Japan, UK and the Baltic countries.
