Meetings with viticulturists are being held throughout Kakheti
Employees of the National Wine Agency inform the viticulturists in Kakheti about the news planned for the 2021 vintage process.
Over the past two weeks, similar meetings have been held in tens of villages in the Kakheti region.
In order to improve the quality of Georgian wine, within the vintage 2021, the quality control of grapes will be tightened. The sugar content of the grapes to be delivered, which is determined by the relevant normative documents, determines the quality of the grapes, which is further reflected in its market value.
Control will be exercised over the PDO (protected designations of Origin) on the productivity limits determined by the specifications.
Meetings with viticulturists in the villages of all Kakheti municipalities are scheduled by the information-consulting department of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia.
