Georgian wine presentations were held in the USA
Georgian wine presentation and degustation was held in San-Francisco, 22 Georgian minor and major winemaking company’s different styles of wine were introduced.
Within the framework of National Wine Agency and “Tastingwork” company organized PR campaign “June-Georgian wine month in the USA”, activities were held in New-York, Washington and San-Francisco.
As the head of “Tastingwork”, wine magister, Lisa Granik says, the events mentioned above aim to raise Georgian wine publicity in the USA, introducing Georgian wine making unique methods and Georgian vine varieties to professionals and amateurs.
“Georgian wine degustation was extremely successful in San-Francisco as well as in New York and Washington, a lot of people gathered. The events had positive response. Wine professionals came for the event held in San-Francisco other states”-mentioned Lisa Granik.
Simultaneously with degustation, there were seminars about Georgian wine culture. The guests of the event had opportunity to taste Georgian wines made by ancient traditional methods and modern technologies as well.
Georgian wine degustation was held in Los-Angeles by one more National Wine Agency contractor company, ”Marq Energie” organization.
The USA is one of the potentially growing and important export markets for Georgian wine. Active marketing activities in the USA will promote Georgian wine publicity and competitiveness on the USA market and widening Georgian wine export area in general.
