Georgian wine tasting and presentation was held in New York. Heard of National Wine Agency contractor company, “Tastingwork” (USA), wine magister Lisa Granik performs active PR-company in “June - Georgian Wine Month in the USA” and events will be held in New York, Washington and San-Francisco within the framework of the project.

At the degustation-seminar held in New York, 22 Georgian major and minor wine cellar’s different styles of wines were introduced.  Simultaneously with the degustation, seminar about Georgian wine culture was organized. The guests of the event had opportunity to taste wines made by ancient Georgian tradition as well as wines of modern technology.

“Degustation held in New York was extremely successful, a lot of people gathered. The events mentioned above aim raise of Georgian wine publicity in the USA, introduction of traditional methods of Georgian winemaking and unique Georgian vine cultural variety to professionals and lovers, that will accordingly promote Georgian wine export growth and development of wine tourism in Georgia” – mentioned Liza Granik.

Within the framework of Georgian wine PR-company, National Wine agency supports degustation on June 20 in Washington and June 27 – San – Francisco.

Introduction of Georgian wine in the USA is very important, as this country is one of the potentially growing and important export markets for Georgian wine. With sample and purposive cooperation with Georgian winemakers, it is possible to create wine export growing tendency on USA market for Georgian wine.

 Accordingly, National Wine Agency considered advisable to arrange active marketing activities in the USA, as it will promote growth of Georgian wine publicity and competitiveness on the USA market and general widening of Georgian wine export market.
