Georgian wine was presented at an international exhibition in Warsaw
With the support of the National Wine Agency, 22 Georgian wine producers participated in the international exhibition “Ferment” (Warsaw Wine Experience 2019) in the capital of Poland, Warsaw.
The exhibition was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Poland Ilia Darchiashvili.
The Warsaw Wine Experience was held for the first time and was attended by around 150 wine makers from around the world. Georgian wine is highly favored in Poland and consequently the visitors of the exhibition were very interested in the products produced by Georgian companies.
Within the framework of the exhibition, Irakli Cholobargia, Head of Marketing and PR of the National Wine Agency held two presentations about Georgian wines - for consumers and representatives of wine trade.
The presentation of Georgian wines in Poland is important as it is one of the strategic markets for export of Georgian wines and represents one of the top five exporting countries. According to the 9 months of 2019, Georgia exported about 3 million bottles of wine to Poland, which is 18% more than in 2018.
