One more Georgian Wine House was opened in China
In the city of Yiwu, Zhejiang province, People’s Republic of China, “Georgian Wine House” was opened, which is the fourth unit opened by “Suolun Company”, were Georgian wine is sold and popularized.
Georgian wine shop salons, named “Georgian Wine House” gradually gain more and more popularity. ”Suolun Company” in opening three more “Georgian Wine Houses” in the province of Xinjiang by the end of May. Totally, approximately 80 “Georgian Wine Houses” are planned to be built on China bases by the company till the end of the year. The Director General of “Suolun Company”, Isyao Jiunum considers, that the growth of “Georgian Wine House” number in China will support Georgian wine popularization and a consumer concerned with the product will have the opportunity not only to buy Georgian wine, but also learn Georgian culture and history.
Also, Georgian wine warehouse was opened in the logistic centre of Yiwu, which will systematically supply “Georgian Wine House” network with wines. The opening of Georgian wine warehouse was attended by the president of commercial-industrial chamber of Georgia, Nino Chiqovani, special representative of National Wine Agency of Ministry of Agriculture of Georgia, Maia Tskitishvili and other delegates.
2015th year was especially important for Georgian wine export point in People’s Republic of China – the growth reached 122% compared to 2014, totally, 2 672 154 bottles (0.75 l) were exported. China took the fourth place in the five of Georgian wine exporting countries after Russia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine. The tendency of the growth is also maintained this year – according to the data of January – April, 779 425 bottles are exported in China, the growth is 58% in comparison with the similar data of the last year.
Such increase of export in China Republic was conditioned by the active arrangements executed by Ministry of Agriculture of Georgia and National Wine Agency. In July of 2015, Georgian wine popularizing center was opened in Beijing, Georgian wine participates in every important international fair held in China, Georgian wine tours are organized for Chinese wine professionals, media and lovers.
