The deadline for extracting the vineyard cadastre will be two weeks
During vintage 2019, the grapes of "Kindzmarauli", "Akhasheni", "Kvareli" and "Mukuzani" will be delivered only on the basis of vineyard cadastre extract.
To verify the cadastre extract, the farmer should apply to the relevant municipal services in the villages by September 1, 2019, located in Information-consulting services in Kvareli and Gurjaani, as well as in the following village Councils of Gurjaani Municipality: Velistsikhe, Kalauri, Vachnadziani, Chumlaki, Vazisubani, Akhasheni, Mukuzani and Shashiani. A mobile cadastre group has also been set up to move to the villages of Gurjaani and Kvareli municipalities.
The quantity of grapes to be delivered from these micro-zones is defined as: no more than 10 tones per hectare. Grapes over 10 tons will be considered as varietal wine material. The extract will be issued free of charge.
The creation of the National Cadastre of Georgian Vineyards will enhance the quality and competitiveness of Georgian wines on the international wine market, facilitate simplification and transparency of vintage process.
