In the capital of China, at the meeting of “Rotary Club of Beijing” held in hotel “Kempinski”, Georgian wine presentation and tasting charity event was conducted. It was one more important step towards increasing popularity and notability of Georgian Wine.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia  in China, David Aptsiauri made a speech and introduced Georgia and Georgian wine culture to the guests attending the meeting. The participants of the event had opportunity to taste 12 different types of wines produced by various winemakers.

 “Rotary Club” event ended with the charity auction of Georgian wine. The members of the club bought:  “Prince Reserve” by Chateau Mukhrani, “Usakhelauri” by Usakhelauri, “Mukuzani” by David Maisuradze, “Rkatsiteli” and “Saperavi” by Teleda and “Saperavi” by Teliani Valley. Received money, 6100 RMB (approximately 1000 USD) was publicly transmitted to children organization “Chunmiao Little Flower” on the 21st of April.

The president of “Rotary Club of Beijing”, Daniel Albrecht thanked National Wine Agency and Ambassador of Georgia, Davit Aptsiauri for supporting the project, participating and presenting unique Georgian wine.

“Rotary Club” is international charity organization, which unites business representatives and professional leaders all around the world. Nowadays, 33 thousand “Rotary Clubs” are established in 200 countries and they unite 1.2 million Rotarians. “Rotary Club of Beijing” was established in 1924 and unites 47 members.
