Georgian Wine house “Tamada” was opened in China
In the city of province Sian Dzin, Urumchi, China, Georgian wine pavilion “tamada” was opened. The head of National Wine Agency Giorgi Samanishvli, the special representative of the agency in China Maia Tskitishvili and China “Hualing Corporation” first secretary Guo Xiang Yang attended the grand ceremony.
In his greeting speech, Giorgi Samanishvili directed attention to the growth of export Georgia to China during the last years.
“For Georgian wine China is very important market as sales increases annually. In 2015, export reached 2.6 million bottles, this index is 122% higher compared to 2014. China is on the fourth place in the five of Georgian wine export countries. Our point is to maintain the quality of Georgian wine along with the growth of export. Thanks to importer company for not only selling, but also for popularization Georgian wine history and culture”- mentioned Giorgi Samanishvili.
The pavilion “Tamada” in the province of Sian Dzin was opened by one of the major Georgian wine importer companies, „Xinjiang Beifaing Jianda Trade Co., LTD“.
National Wine Agency handed over the Georgian wine promotion materials to the pavilion. Big capacity “Qvevri”, copies of the artifacts about wine themes and paintings of Niko Pirosmani are located in the pavilion. The pavilion serves not only presenting the wine, but also introduction of Georgian culture and custom to the citizens of the province of Sian Dzin. The guests have opportunity to make “Churchkhela”, “Khinkali” and also to experience Georgian culture and folklore.
In the city of Urumchi 4 Georgian Wine exhibition shops, 2 Georgian wine and culinary units are opened by „Xinjiang Beifaing Jianda Trade Co., LTD“ . Also, in the cities of province Sian Dzin, Inin and Khorgo, 3 Georgian wine exhibition-shops are opened by the initiative of the company and their distributors –totally, 9 high quality objects, guests can cognize Georgian culture and traditions along with Georgian Wine.
The grand ceremony of opening Georgian wine pavilion was symbolically dedicated to the anniversary of opening the silk road project.
