In the city of German, Dusseldorf, annual international fair of wine and alcohol beverage ProWein - 2016 is held on 13-15 March  and  with support of Ministry of Agriculture, National Wine Agency, association “Georgian Wine” and “Kakheti Wine Guild” , 15 Georgian winemaking companies participate in it.

Ambassador of  Georgia in Germany, Lado Chanturia attended the presentation of the fair.

Participation in the fair gives Georgian winemakers the opportunity to represent their production alongside with the famous, widely recognized  company products.

Large-scale and prestige fair ProWein is the main event of the year for winemakers,  as they can get into new contacts and search importers, learn modern technology and services. In the framework of the fair,  negotiations with importers and  distribution companies Europe, Canada, USA and Asian countries are organized.

They have opportunity to taste the fallowing Georgian wine company productions: “Tbilvino”, “Chateau Mukhrani”, “Tamada”, “Kakhetian Traditional Vinery”, “Koncho and Company”, “Corporation Georgian Wine”, “Bagrationi 1882”, “Vaziani Company”, “Wineman”, “Winery Khareba”, “Corporation Kindzmarauli”, ”Telavi Wine Cellar”, “Kakhuri”, “Besini”  and “Teliani Valley”.

Georgian wine company representatives meet wine business supporting and market research international organization representatives, also, the leaders of the companies popularizing Georgian wine.

This year, thousands of representatives of vinery, winery and trade field over 50 countries will gather at ProWein.

ProWein fair is held since 1994. For supporting Georgian production popularity and publicity growth on world market, Georgia participates in the fair since 2000. At first, only 5 Georgian companies took part in the fair.  In accordance with the large scales and importance of ProWein fair, interest Georgian companies increased and today, 15 companies represent Georgia on the fair.
