One more Georgian wine house was opened in China

In Lishui, Zhejiang province, People\'s Republic of China, “Georgian Wine House” was opened. The ceremony was attended by Georgian delegation together with the special representative of  Georgian Ministry of Agriculture LEPL National Wine Agency in China, Maia Tskitishvili.

Georgian wine house was opened by “Suolun” company and this is the second wine house opened by this company within the last 7 months. Native distributors, dealers and media representatives were invited to the ceremony. “Suolun”   company director-general, Mr. Isiao Zdiunu represented Georgian wine presentation  to the guest and explained the meaning of  “Georgian Wine House” network  in China.

“Suolun” company plans to open 60-80 Georgian wine houses till the end of 2016 country-wide in China, , Georgian wine popularization will be directed by familiarizing with Georgian history and culture. It’s remarkable, that the company plans to open Georgian wine school in the city of  Yiwu in the current  year.

Maia Tskitishvili held business meetings in the city of  Yiwu,  Zhejiang province and learned the company future plans for supporting  Georgian wine export. The Agency representative also met director-general of Bonded Logistics Center of Lishui, Zhejiang province,  Mrs. Cristal, the offer of  giving free warehouse to Georgian wine in the Chinese government framework was discussed. 

55m people live in Zhejiang province, Yiwu is known as import product trade market. Here gathers 50 000 widely used imported products 90 countries and regions worldwide. 

2015th year was especially important for Georgian wine export growth point in China. Steep growth rate of export fixed in the beginning of the year preserved till the close of the year and reached 122%  according to 2015 data. Totally 2 672 154 bottles (0.75l)  were exported in 12 months in China.
