Presentation of Georgian Wine in the Netherlands
Special stand “Taste of Georgia” was held at the annual event “WineWeekend” in Rijswijk, Netherlands, where Georgian wines were presented. “WineWeekend” is considered as the largest wine tasting event in the Netherlands, where about 50 wine companies were represented this year.
During the event, two presentation-seminars were organized - “Amber Wines from Georgia”, which was attended by wine professionals. The tasting was lead by Bernard Nauta, the head of the National Wine Agency contractor company, “Saperavi Wine Agency”.
With the National Wine Agency support, 12 wine varieties of the following 6 Georgian wine companies were represented at the seminar: “Koncho and Company”, “Tbilvino”, “Papari Valley”, “Bagrationi 1882”, “Gotsa Family Wines”, “Telavi Wine Cellar”.
