Prime-minister in Coordination Stuff of “Vintage 2016”
Prime-minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili visited coordination stuff of “Vintage 2016” in Telavi and learnt the results of monitoring of the vintage.
As the head of National Wine Agency, Giorgi Samanishvili explained, the staff works in emergency regime. For the day, 68,4 thousand tone grapes have been reproduced, wine companies have received grapes 11 thousand viticulturists.
Giorgi Kvirikashvili underlined the total readiness of Georgian government for carrying out organized and undisturbed vintage this year. As he claims, for the state, both, viticulturist and producers interests are important. The head of the government hopes that the vintage will be successful and no viticulturist will have grapes unregistered.
According to the decision of the government of Georgia, on the grapes delivered in the wine companies registered in vintage coordination staff, physical persons will receive the following subsidy: Kakheti region - 1kg Rqatsiteli - 0,45Gel, 1kg Kakhetian Green – 0,45Gel, 1kg Saferavi – 0,20Gel; Racha-lechkhumi and Qvemo Svaneti region – Mujuretuli/Aleksandrouli – 2Gel.
The grapes registered will be accounted with the special computer program in the united electronic base and any interested person can see the updated information online on the National Wine Agency web-site: www.georgianwine.gov.ge; www.rtveli2016.gov.ge.
The meeting held in the coordination staff was attended by the minister of Agriculture of Georgia, Levan Davitashvili and the governor of Kakheti, Irakli Kadagishvili.
