Georgian Wine Presentation Was Held in The United States
Georgian wine tasting-seminar was held in Austin, Texas, USA organized by the National Wine Agency contractor company "Tastingwork". The event was lead by the head of "Tastingwork", master of wine Lisa Granik.
The presentation of Georgian wines from different regions of Georgia was attended by American wine professionals. According to Liza Granik, Georgian wines have made a special impression on the guests and they are looking forward to the next event where the variety of Georgian wine will be presented once again. According to the master of wine, these tasting will enhance the awareness and popularization of Georgian wine in the US, which has been one of the potentially growing and important export markets of Georgian wines in the recent years. According to the data of January-August of the current year, 291 thousand bottles of wine are exported from Georgia to the USA, growth compared to the same period of the last year amounted to 2%.
Within the framework of cooperation with the National Wine Agency, The "Tastingwork" has organized tens of presentations of Georgian wine in different cities of the USA in the last few years, also, a number of wine professionals visits were arranged in Georgia.
