Georgian Wine - National Wine Agency

Presentation and tasting of Georgian wine “ Press and Trade Tour” was held for representatives of press and wine industry London, the capital of UK.
The event held in London wad attended by the Ambassador of Georgia to the UK Tamar Beruchashvili.
The event was organized by the National Wine Agency and contractor company “Swirl Wine Group” and were over 100 varieties of classic and traditional Georgian wines were represented. During the event, Georgian wine seminar “How Georgian Wines can revolutionize your wine list” was held for commercial individuals (wine importers, buyers, representatives of restaurant chains), which was led by representatives of “Swirl Wine Group”, master of wine Sara Ebot and wine writer Robert Joseph. Georgian wine tasting was also held. Introduction of Georgian wine in London is very important, as the UK is one of the biggest wine importer and consumer country. According to the data of the first quarter of the year, up to 38 thousand bottles were exported from Georgia to the UK, that is 98% higher than the similar data of the last year.
