During the working visit in Japan, the advisor to the Chairman of the National Wine Agency Davit Tkemaladze and Executive Director of association “Georgian Wine” Tina Kezeli met the successful Georgian sumoists  Levan Gorgadze (Tochinoshini) and Teimuraz Jugeli (Gagamaru). The meeting was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Japan, Levan Tsintsadze. In 2018, first time in the history of sumo, Georgian sportsman Levan Gorgadze , same as Tochinoshini, won the  Emperor’s Cup. The winning of Levan Gorgadze increases the interest of Japanese people towards Georgia and is one more promotion factor for collaboration in various directions. The Advisor to the Chairman of the National  Wine Agency Davit Tkemaladze awarded Lavan Gorgadze by specially Labeled 5 litter bottle of Saperavi from the National Wine Agency. During their visit, Davit Tkemaladze and Tinatin Kezeli together with the represrntatives of the Embessy of Georgia to Japan met the representatives of exhibition space “Terrada Warehouse”, national museum of Tokyo “Ueno”, and the museum “Nezu”. During the meeting, the parties discussed the issue of Georgian wine exhibition in Tokyo. In 2018, important fair adapted to the local exhibition space  “Georgia- the Cradle of Wine”  will be held. The above mentioned exhibition was being held in “Cite des Civilisations Du Vin”, Bordeaux, France for 4 months in 2017, where tens of thousands of visitors were able to see Georgian exposition. During the visit, the Advisor to the Chairman of the National Wine Agency Davit Tkemaladze and representatives of Embassy of Georgia to Japan also met the representatives of “Gakushikaikani”. At the meeting, the parties discussed the issues of future collaboration events.  Gakushikaikani is the union of Seven national universities (Tokyo, Hokkaido, Tohoku, Nagoya, Kyoto, Osaka, Kyushu)developed in 1928 . The organization was established for communication and development of friendship between the universities. Within the union, various mass events are organized.
