Presentation of Georgian Wine in London
On March 11-12, international exhibition The Artisan Wine Fair "RAW WINE" is held in the capital of UK, London, where Georgian Qvevri wine producer small cellars participate.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Tamar Beruchashvili attended the exhibition.
With the support of the National Wine Agency, this year the following companies are presented at the fair: "Gotsa Family Winery", "Babaneuri Marani", "Natenadze Wine Cellar", "Chateau Khashmi", "Ethno Wine Cellar", "Winery Velino", "Nikala Family Cellar", "Winemaking Tibaani ".
The exhibition is organized by the worldwide known wine expert, international Master of Wine, Isabel Lijerón from France.
Attendees get a chance to taste Qvevri wine, get acquainted with the ancient traditions of its production, culture and history of the country. Georgian wine has earned great interest and approval for visitors of the exhibition this year too. The British market is very important in terms of being one of the largest importer and wine consumers in the world.
As for Georgian winemakers, exhibition has obtained important importers last year to them.
Georgia takes part in ”RAW WINE” since 2012, that gives an opportunity to find potential importers and present Qvevri wine to large audience.
