Interest Towards Georgian Wine Is Increasing from Dutch Importers
A group of Dutch importers and journalists lead by the head of “Saperavi Wine Agency” Bernard Nauta has visited Georgia with National Wine Agency invitation for Georgian wine popularization and export growth in Holland.
According to the Head of Marketing and PR Department of National Wine Agency, Irakli Cholobargia, on the bases of international tendency of wine consumption and statistics, Dutch Market has great potential for Georgian wine.
“Considering this factor, we have signed a contract with the wine importer company, “Saperavi Wine Agency” in the beginning of the year. The company imports Georgian wine in Holland and conducts various activities for Georgian wine publicity growth. It\'s remarkable, that some agreements have already been signed during this tour, that is a base for further progress of Georgian wine export in Holland” - stated Irakli Cholobargia.
During their tour, Dutch guests visited and tasted wines of the fallowing companies: \"Shumi\", “Tbilvino”, “Gotsa Wines”, “Pheasant\'s Tears”, “Telavi Wine Cellar”, “Schuchmann Wines Georgia”, “Papari Valley” “Koncho and Company”. The interest towards Georgian wine was so great, that some of the visitors decided to prolong the tour and they also visited “Brother\'s Cellar” and “Bolnuri”.
