The Articles on Georgian Wine Will Be Published In South Korean Magazine With a Circulation of Million Copies
A famous South Korean oenologist, Professor Jin-Sik Bang, who has dedicated his 100th anniversary article to Georgian wine had a week business visit in Georgia.
Jin-Sik Bang had been working in France for years and currently is a professional columnist of an onboard journal of the largest Korean airlines - “Korean Air”. That\'s the magazine where the articles on Georgian wine will be published.
Within his tour, Jin-Sik Bang visited National Wine Agency and held a business meeting with the Deputy chairman of National Wine Agency, Andro Aslanishvili and the Head of Marketing and PR Department Irakli Cholobargia and saw the cellar, oenotheca and museum of the agency.
As Irakli Cholobargia stated, Georgian wine export to South Korea has been progressive in the recent years and articles about Georgian wine will promote growth of Georgian wine publicity in this country.
“Decision on writing an article about Georgian wine was made by the leadership of “Korean Air”. From August till the end of the year, articles on Georgian wine will be published in 4 editions and one of them will be the 100th anniversary article. The onboard journal, which has a print run of almost million copies will be distributed in each airplane of the airline and the branches of the company in 130 countries worldwide” - stated Irakli Cholobargia.
During his tour in Georgia, South Korean wine professional visited the following Georgian wine companies: “Telavi Wine Cellar”, “Satsnakheli”, “Teliani Valley”, “Maranuli”, “Chateau Mukhrani”, also he visited Qvevri-maker Zaza Kbilashvili in Kakheti and learnt the method of Qvevri-making.
This was the first visit of Jin-Sik Bang in Georgia supported by the Embassy of Georgia in South Korea.
