The meeting participants discussed the proposed modification to the Khvanchkara specification, specifically regarding the grape yield norm per hectare. The conversation touched on the process of registration of local wine "Racha" in "Sakpatenti", as well as issues related to the Vintage in the Racha-Lechkhumi region.
Attention was focused on the geographical placement of the Alexandrouli and Mujuretuli grape varieties within the designated boundaries. This focus aimed to improve wine quality, combat counterfeiting, create job opportunities, and promote the development of wine tourism. In order to achieve the intended objective, it is imperative to establish wine enterprises in the region in accordance with contemporary standards. These enterprises should facilitate the complete processing of "Khvanchkara" varieties, as well as the production of wine in compliance with international standards.  During the meeting, there was a thorough discussion of the current situation and a comprehensive assessment of the prospects for wine enterprises.
During the meeting, upcoming work meetings were scheduled to address the challenges in the mentioned area. These meetings aim to evaluate the challenges and devise targeted activities to overcome them.
